Cherokee bulbs are a common replacement for Jeep owners. After time the bulbs get hot and the filament burns out. It’s not uncommon to go through several bulbs in a year. One alternative is upgrading your lighting system to Cherokee HIDs. The new technology utilizes the xenon gas and a small electric charge to distribute the light. Cherokee HID bulbs last much longer than the standard halogen bulbs and are much brighter as well. If you’re upgrading your Jeep with new Cherokee xenon HID bulbs, you’ll also need the accompanying HID ballast that acts as a control gear when your lights are running.
